Rabbit Rant.
We've lost more trans youth. I'll be the one to say it. Society murdered Leelah, Zander, and Damien.
To blame are they who force these kids into conversion therapy.
To blame are the ones who tell these kids that they are confused or crazy.
To blame are the parents who use religion to abuse their kids for being LGBT+.
To blame are those who care more about society's views than the emotional health of their kid because that kid isn't heterosexual.
To blame are those who stand by silently and let this happen. Only speaking when those children choose to end their suffering.
To blame are those who tell them to suck it up and wait until they're 18.

I'm One Happy Bunny!
Last Monday, a wonderful moment finally arrived. My beloved mother married the woman of her dreams! I want to congratulate my two mommies and wish them tons of happiness!
Also, I'm pleased to announce that I got a 3.0 GPA last semester! :)
Now, I'm focusing on getting a 4.0 this time, and helping raise $$$ for Harlem Knights Robotics so we can travel to and from state and world championships in March and April. You can head on over here to help out a bunch of intelligent engineers and entrepreneurs. <3

Finals Week for Bunny!
Hey, darlings! It's finals week for me, and maybe some of y'all. So I think I oughtta give a few tips!
- It's been proven that the calmer you are, the better your performance. Not saying you should be drunk or smacked before a test, but you shouldn't be freaking out either.
- Chew gum for 5 minutes before any exam!
- If you've an essay, make sure to proofread that baby! Ain't nothing worse than sending in an essay with bad grammar.
- Get all your feelings out before the test. Cry, scream, throw a tantrum. You deserve that.
- Treat yourself to a massage afterward!

Book Review #2
Good morning, y'all! Finals are next week, so wish me luck on that! Now I finally read "Warm Bodies", on which the film was based, and oh, my word! For the most part, the movie remains true to the book. The protagonist, R, is more sentimental than the average corpse, to where he falls in love with a Living girl named Julie. It's gross, but cute, and so beautifully written that I got through it without throwing up.
SPEAKING OF zombies, another great one: "My Life as a White Trash Zombie" is about a self-described "loser" named Angel who wakes up after a car crash with a new job, a new lifestyle, and a craving for brains. The story follows her as she comes to terms with the fact that she's not human anymore.
Yeah, if you don't know, I'm fascinated by zombies.
Any recommendations?

A Rabbit's Rant
On Wednesday, a grand jury in Staten Island decided not to indict the police officer who killed 43-year-old Eric Garner with a chokehold. Garner's crime? Selling loosies, or individual cigarettes, on the street. He did not resist arrest. You can find a video of Garner's final moments. The coroner ruled it a homocide, but the officer still walked away scot-free.
This is one of many high-profile cases of police brutality involving a person of color and a white officer. I know that those who choose to comment on this post will be up in arms on either side. I am a black woman, so I could play the race card. But I will not, because that's not my issue here. My problem is that there was more evidence against the cop than there was evidence in his damn favor! For God's sake, there's video, and there were more witnesses than there were in the case of Michael Brown. They indicted the cameraman but not the fucking murderer.
I am ashamed to say that these are the people chosen to "protect and serve" the cities in which they live.

Traveling for Turkey Day!
Good morning, dolls and dudes! It's the day before Thanksgiving and I know some of y'all are traveling Please be advised of the following:
- Winter Storm Cato is here on the East coast, so there may be delays at airports and bus depots. Please be careful on the roads, dears.
- Same weather but less dire n the Midwest, Tennessee Valley and Ohio Valley. Drivers beware, though. Also snowing in the Rockies.
- Tomorrow, Cato will be gone, but you'll need to bundle up. In the Pacific Northwest, there'll be rain and/or snow, but elsewhere will be pretty warm. So to my West Coast darlings, drive safely, and keep warm!
- And for the love of Bettie, please be careful on Friday if you're going shopping!

Holiday Cheer!
Awwww yesh, it's the week of Thanksgiving, darlings! So, I'm gonna tell you what I'm thankful for.
- My family. My mom and mommy have been nothing short of supportive and caring throughout these 18 years of my life. My brother and my twin sister have taught me more than any book ever could.
- Lip gloss. Seriously, I cannot wear a fancy outfit without the stuff.
- My friends. They were my shelter during many storms, and I was there for them. I've even served as a stylist for some of my chums when prom came around. They haven't judged me for my fascination with rockabilly, either!
- Spotify. It's the only way I listen to my music. And no, I am not paying for that crap!
- Unique Vintage. Without them, what would I be blogging about?
- Last, but not least, you, my wonderful readers. It's been a blast having you all here reading my stuff, otherwise I'd just be some crazy kid on Blogger.
